 ACTIVITIES

Fetesti includes the forest massif Fetesti, its surroundings with herbal vegetation and narrow paths of Draghiste small river (originated from drag that means love). The narrow path has a breadth of 250 m, abrupt and high banks. I n the superior part of Fetesti reservation was kept a sector of semiarid grove Quercus pubescens. In the south, in the gully, this grove is neighboring to a forest of oak trees, in the West - the forest of oak trees without hornbeam, in the North agricultural lots are extended.

There are 160 species of herbal plants. 15 species of plants are rare (Rhamunus tinctoria, Cotoneaster meanocarpa, Amygdalus nana, Schivereckia podolica, Poa podolica, Dictamnus gymnistylis, Saxifraga tridactylites, Aurinia saxatilis, Asperula tinctoria, Asplenium ruta-muraria, A. trichomanes, Cystopteris fragilis, Adonis vernalis, Helichrysum arenarium, Fritillaria montana).

"Formerly the locality was called "La fetica". In the former times, in the village lived a beautiful girl (fetica), that made an outlaw fall in love. That outlaw was hiding during the day among the afforested reefs of narrow paths. In the evening he went out from the hidden place and called his darling singing by flute. But he did not have enough patience to wait more for her and than went he to his darling fetica".
