In the 2004-2005 academic year APLE has grand plans for all English Language Teachers from Moldova  and namely four projects, which are part of the U.S. Strategy on Supporting English Language Teaching

• APLE Annual Conference

APLE  organizes an Annual Convention – usually the third Saturday in September. It is an event with the participation of all APLE members from Moldova and quests invited from the country and abroad. It features papers, workshops, poster sessions, panel discussions, and a publishers' exhibition, which displays up-to-date educational publications, technology and information. Thus, participants have the opportunity to look over an extensive range of materials available for teacher development and classroom use.

As a result, members are provided with the opportunity to hear about the latest theory and developments in ELT and to exchange knowledge and experience. They are also able to make contacts with other colleagues who share the same interests and to return home with some practical ideas and teaching materials for their classrooms.
